Setting the Properties of a Swimlane

This topic describes the procedure to set the properties of a swimlane.

You can set the properties, such as assigning a role or team to the swimlane.

1. Select a starting point and click (Business Process Model) to open an existing business process model.
2. Double-click the swimlane set its properties. Alternatively, right-click the swimlane construct and select Properties. The Properties - Lane pane appears.
3. Click the General tab and type a Description for the swimlane.
4. Click the Assignee tab and select the role or team that you want to attach to the swimlane.
5. Click the Annotation tab and type additional comments or notes, if any, on the swimlane. For more information on the fields on the Properties - Lane pane, refer to Swimlane Properties Interface.
